Deepening Mindfulness and Meditation

Deepening Mindfulness and Meditation builds on the Introductory Course -"MindFlow" and focuses on managing self- talk and developing daily practice in meditation and mindfulness to deepen self-awareness and bring greater peaceand clarity to life.  The evenings include 20 minutes of group meditation practice.

  • Big Mind. Big Heart Practice (3 weeks)
  • Compassion and Meditation
  • Mindfulness and Being in the Moment

  • Types of Meditation Practices 
This course will help you to deepen your practice of mindfulness and develop a meditation practice that fits with your lifestyle and needs.  Participants report that they become more aware of managing their self-talk and of taking steps to bring themselves back to the present moment.  They find that practicing meditation significantly increases their capacity to be mindful throughout the day.  It assists them to find a greater sense of serenity and to contribute more fully to their families, their work and the world at large.

Time: Tuesdays  6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Term 3: 22 Sept – 24th Nov 2015

Facilitator: Michael Fox - Michael is a registered psychologist and business change consultant with a strong interest in integral theory and practice. He is an excellent facilitator with an engaging style who brings a practical approach to philosophy and integrating spirituality into life.  

Pre-Requisites:  Ideally participants have completed the Living Philosophy Introductory Course or  have attended the School of Philosophy in Australia or overseas.  

Venue: Heathcote - Murray House, 58-60 Duncraig Road, Applecross.
 
Fee: $220 standard / $180 concession or Earlybird special (paid in full by 1 June)
